Anne Frank: Her Life in Words and Pictures from the Archives of the Anne Frank House

I remember reading "The Diary of a Young Girl" by Anne Frank when I was probably 10 years old. I still believe that this is the most relevant and important book I have ever read. It is the one book anyone should read if they pick one book to read. This book, "Anne Frank: Her Life in Words and Pictures from the Archives of the Anne Frank House" is a fitting companion to Anne Frank's book. It delves into much more detail and is a must read for anyone wanting to know more about the Holocaust and how it affected so many people. Highly recommended.

Storm to the Past: A Time Travel Western by Dennis Gager

I really like time travel stories especially when they take place in interesting time periods. Nate and Adam decide to go on a sailing trip but end up sailing into the old west and have to survive long enough to find their way home back to their own time period. The premise is interesting and I just wish that there was a bit more "meat" to the story with the descriptive background and character development. I can understand the writing style more now that I understand that it is meant for children. It would definitely appeal to children who love a bit of adventure and history in their stories.
